Hey, I'm Desmond but you can call me “Dez”—the photographer behind PixByDez Photography. Based in Raleigh, I specialize in capturing youth soccer with a authentic, true-to-color editorial style that tells the story of every player, every game, and every season. My goal is simple: create timeless images that families will treasure and athletes will be proud to share for years to come.

My goal is to make the entire booking process from initial contact to final photo gallery delivery as seamless as possible. I also edit photos with a “true to color” approach that will ensure the photos you receive are timeless and wall frame worthy for years to come.

Half game coverage covers from warm up until the end of the first half while full game coverage will provide coverage for the entire game from warm-ups until the final minute of extra play.

Bookings should be made no later than 1 week before game day

As long as the game is on, I will provide coverage for the game. If the game is halted or rescheduled due to weather, we can reschedule at no additional charge.

Yes! I offer package options for additional athletes as well as full team coverage.

Yes! As long as your athlete averages at least 10 minutes of playing time, you can book coverage.

I’m a portrait photographer by trade so I aim to capture as much emotion as possible by habit. There will be close ups of your athlete of them “in the zone” before and during the game, during the game there will be on the ball and off the ball photos, interactions between your athlete and their teammates and of course goal celebrations!

You must be at least 18 years old to book with me, if you are under 18, please have your parent or guardian contact me and we can get your photo session booked!

Booking Your Athlete Spotlight Package
Upon receiving your inquiry, I will reach out to you as soon as possible via email. I offer an optional free phone consultation if you would like? This gives us a chance to meet over the phone. If you would like to keep communications to email, that is totally fine too! Whatever is most comfortable for you.
After we have a chance to connect, I will send you a booking link which will remain active for 24hrs. If you would like to proceed forward with booking, you will complete booking through the link which includes paying the non-refundable retainer and signing the client contract. Once both are complete, your game day and time reserved!
On game day, I will meet you before the game to put a face to the voice, meet your athlete, wish them luck and head over to the field and begin capturing the warm-ups. After the game (or during half-time) I will begin sorting through the photos to decide on which are the best ones to edit and upload to your gallery for selection. This first gallery will be watermarked and you will favorite the ones you would like as part of your final gallery. Once you have made your selections, I will send a final gallery which will be in full resolution and ready for downloading and sharing with your family & friends!
