Yes! Most of my clients say the same thing. You don’t need modeling experience or a Pinterest board full of poses. I’ll guide you through the session, give you prompts, help you move and hype you up along the way!

A solo graduation session last for 1 hour which is typically enough time take photos at 1-3 on campus locations (depending on walking distance). The session includes 25 edited high resolution images that will be delivered via an online gallery which also includes an optional print store if you would to purchase prints. During the session, I will provide posing guidance and encouragement to help you feel comfortable and have fun during your session!

The earlier the better! I offer graduation sessions year round and I highly recommend booking before the busy grad sessions to avoid crowds and waiting time especially for popular locations like The Old Well at UNC, The Bell Tower at NC State and the Chapel Grounds at Duke.

North Carolina weather can be unpredictable. If the forecast is for rain/thunderstorms on your session day, we can reschedule free of charge for a later date.

I typically try to keep group sessions to 6 or less. This allows me to provide personal attention to each grad and ensure everyone gets several solo photos in addition to group photos. If you do have a large group such as a session with your club and sorority, we can discuss that as well!

Please try to arrive at least 10 minutes before session start time so we have time to meet and go over any last minute questions/concerns you might have.

Booking Your Graduation Session
Upon receiving your inquiry, I will reach out to you as soon as possible via email. I offer an optional free phone consultation if you would like? This gives us a chance to meet over the phone, let me learn about your vision and needs of your portrait session and answer all of your questions. If you would like to keep communications to email, that is totally fine too! Whatever is most comfortable for you.
After we have a chance to connect, I will send you a booking link which will remain active for 24hrs. If you would like to proceed forward with booking, you will complete booking through the link which includes paying the non-refundable retainer and signing the client contract. Once both are complete, your session date and time are locked in!
On session day, I will meet you at the first location before session start time, this will give us a chance to meet face to face and get to know each other more before starting the session. After the session is complete I will begin going through the photos we took and select the very best for your preview and selection gallery. This first gallery will be watermarked and you will favorite the ones you would like as part of your final gallery. Once you have made your selections, I will send a final gallery which will be in full resolution and ready for downloading and sharing with your family & friends!
